Lisa Perkins Smith is the owner and principal designer of The Image Author. Lisa is a talented, organized, and loyal person in her work and personal life. Originally from Plymouth, MN she now resides in Mound.

"I live for things that are beautiful. I love the outdoors, but even more I appreciate man-made beauty that takes your breath away.

It is amazing to me that anything that is not made in nature, is designed. Take a look around. That TV you're watching, someone took a lot of time to think about the material, the color, the shape. Your deck, the muffler on your car, the book you're reading, your baseball cap...all designed by someone. Pretty cool!

I pay attention to the little details. When driving, I look at street signs, billboards, the way the sun hits the side of a building...all inspiration for the projects I'm working on that day. Every client is unique, every project has a slightly different goal.
